General info
How far in advance should I book my event? We recommend you plan in advance for the most popular wedding dates. May and June usually book 6 months to a year or more in advance. September and October are also popular months for events. In most cases we do not book any events with less than 7 days notice.
Do you require a deposit? Yes, 25% non-refundable deposit and a signed contract are required to book. For orders over $1,000, a second payment of an additional 50% is due 60 days prior to the event.
When is final payment due? Estimated charges are due 7 days before the event. Final invoice for any additional items requires payment within 10 days of event. Service charges of 15% per month late fee will apply to all past due accounts.
Do you have a contract? Yes, our current contract terms are on our site. All new clients will be required to sign our new contract specific to the event. When you are ready to book, please contact us to get a contract. Any requests for services, verbal or electronic and receipt of any deposit will serve as agreement to the contract terms.
Do you have a retail store? We do not have a retail store. All appointments and deliveries will be at the event site. We do have a warehouse, but it is not open to the public.
Can I change my order as my date gets closer? Yes, you can change your order as you progress with your planning. However if your order goes down in size we will not refund any amounts prepaid. We recommend review and changes before your 60 day contract payment and again about 2 weeks prior to the event.
Do you take Credit Cards? We can now take on-line payments in the form of echeck or credit card. We prefer to get an echeck, but we can take a credit card additional fee of 3.5% will be added to your invoice. We must know in advance if you need to use a credit card.
Tents
What is the difference between a frame tent and a pole tent? Frame tents are supported by a freestanding structure and do not require center poles. Frame tents are anchored at the corners to the ground. Pole tents or tension tents are supported by upright center and side poles. Anchor stakes are required at every pole around the tent's perimeter.
Are side walls included in the price of the tent? All of our tents are offered at a price without sidewalls. The sidewalls are priced separate so you only pay for the walls you need. We can recommend a pattern based on your set up. We often wall just one side of the tent or around just the corners.
You are setting up a white tent for my wedding? All of our tents are white. We lay out blue tarps to cover the ground when we lay out the tent to keep the underside of the tent clean while we are setting it up. Lots of people think the blue tarps are the tent tops and get concerned that the tent will not be white. Do not worry, all the tents are white!
Decorating
How much do you charge to do ceiling drapes and lights? We based our decorating prices on the amount of material used and the amount of time it will take us to hang everything. The cost can vary greatly depending on the room and how much you want us to do. We would need to set up an appointment to meet you at the venue to talk about what you would like and then we can build you an estimate. On average ceiling drapes will range from $800 to $3,500. We do have a $200 minimum on decor plus delivery.
